Family Tree.

Your sketch of your family tree (or lineage) may look something like the one below at this stage. Of course you know your own details, and you will probably know those of your parents. From that generation on things may not be so well known to you. The people on the left hand side of this sketch are your paternal (father's) side, and on the right hand side are your maternal (mother's) side. So it is armed with this sketch that you will go on to the next stage.
