Family
History - Death Certificate.
In genealogy, certificates can provide us with lots of information to help
us trace our family history. A death certificate provides us with information
like full names, date of death, cause of death, address, spouse's name,
name of the person registering the information, and depending on when the
death was registered, the place and date of birth.
As with all birth, death and marriage certificates
in the United Kingdom, they are available either from the G.R.O. (General
Record Office in Southport), or from the registration districe where the
original event was registered.
